Greetings,
I have a 92 Ford Ranger(4.0) with a defective a4ld. Will a 91 Ford Ranger 4.0 a4ld transmission fit and operate properly in my 92? Your response will be greatly appreciated.

You could use it since both are made for a 4.0L. Are they made for a 2WD or a 4X4?

Both are 2wd. Are the 91 and 92 2wd a4ld identical trannys?

There are monor internal differences, but as far as swapping them, they should be the same.
