Excited for good things

I'm Jake from Atlanta, GA and I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT completely stock minus the Pioneer head unit I have in it. I plan on putting a brush guard on and building a cargo organizer in the back to keep weapons and such. I am havin problems with gas mileage, so I would love to get peoples' thoughts on that. Anyway, I am already havin fun browsing and I'm ready to learn. Good to meet all of you (cybermeet?)

My thought is : more weight isn't exactly going to help with the MPG figure.
