I only get about 15 mpg hi-way on my '02 4.0L V6 with manual trans. I'd like to improve my engine's performance so has anyone tried installing exhaust headers, twin exhaust lines, or individual ignition coil per spark plug? If anyone has, particularly headers, what kind did you use? Results?

Thanks guys.

i know there a couple folks on here with headers, i can only imagine they worked better than the stock exhaust manifold. as far as dual exhaust, true dual exhaust would probably not be owrth the cost of installing it on the v6, but a free flowing muffler might be a good idea. basically bolt on mods, exhaust, intake, headers, and chip are goin to be the best bang for your buck. dont expect a dramatic increase in milage though. just use the gas less, if i baby mine i can get 20+ mpg, but i have a lead foot and get 15-17.
