exhaust options

started thinking about it today, and after contemplating my tried and true flowmaster 40 solution, im starting to think that it might be just a little louder than i want it to be. they were fun in highschool but i need something that wont wake up the entire neighborhood if i start the truck at night (maybe the neighbors right next door, just not the whole neighborhood)...

I was looking at the Gibson single tip kit that you see everywhere, anyone have input as to that one. or what are some other options for a, lets say, moderately loud exhaust?

a flowmaster 50 series... they are supposed to be a bit quieter than the 40 from what ive heard. also flowmaster has a chart that ranks the exterior volumes on their website

Bah, I can't help you on this one. 7 years and I'm still on the stock muffler.

The only kits I'm aware of are the Gibson single, Heartthrob duals (from J.C. Whitney), and Magnaflow duals (pricey). The Gibson would be the quietest I think.
Gibson's site lists a different part number for '04-'05 but then I couldn't find it anywhere (only the '01-'03 part) and when I called Summit and gave them the part number, they hung up on me.
