Exhaust question.

i'm wondering if the exhaust set up on a 98 x v6 is the same as a 98 mountainer v8. meaning the 4 cats and dual in single out muffler. if so than the tail pipes should be the same. we are playing around with the mountaineer but need a tail pipe. there is one about 50 miles away but its for a 98 x v6. want stock fit for the mountaineer's tailpipe is toast. anyone know. the 1 50 miles away is brand new. need to know if it will work.

The down pipes will be different. I'm not sure on the rest.

thank you, i got smart and went to a couple of car lots that were closed and slid under a couple of x's and it looks like it will work with very little mods.
