With a V-6 you don't need a dual set up. Go with a 2-1/4" pipe get a 40 or 50 series type muffler and you will be happy.

Two things, what kind of exhaust setup did go with, (size, type of bends, and type of muffler)?

The other thing, why because he has a OHV would he not have a problem with torque loss. The SOHC is more powerful so wouldnt it make more exhaust gas, there for more backpressure and torque?
