exhaust setup

I'm looking to put a flowtech 9000 muffler on my 05 trac. I like the look of the dual exhaust out the back, but is there any performance or sound difference between a si/do or si/so muffler.

i was down at the muffler shop yesterday and i wanted to do an si/do setup but the guy told me its very difficult to set up a dual setup on these trucks because of the fuel tank being in the way, so i ended up just getting a single setup.

You can do duals, the tank isn't in the way, the spare tire is harder to bend the pipes around for a lot of shops that don't like a challenge. It is doable though, I've had two different 2.5" dual set-ups on mine (I did remove the spare and cut the spare mounting bracket off). Heart Throb from JC Whitney sells a dual catback system that others have installed and liked, pretty cheap too.
