Exhaust smell inside

Hi,

I had the trans replaced recently and ever since I get exhasut smell inside while stopped at lights, etc. This is with windows closed. My questions:

1) What's the likely way for exhaust ingress?
2) What exhaust system connections need to be broken to do an AT R&R?
3) Since it's a 2002 with original exhaust, it's probably time - where have you gotten parts, and what's approx cost? Anyone used aftermarket parts and happy with it? I swore years ago to always use original exhaust parts due to pain of the job.
4) Have any of you had to replace cat conv or pipe from exhaust manifold?

Hi There - I can only think of the exhaust joint between the muffler and the mid-pipe (goes up to engine) - that would have had to have been removed to install transmission. I would start there - it might be loose or possibly not aligned correctly and forced together. Good Luck!
