how you all doin? a few months ago i picked up a 95 ranger ext cab 4.0L 5spd 2wd i'm looking to change up the front end with the front end from a sport track or new explorer sport. i know that they're still built off of the ranger chassis and was wondering how much body work i'll have to have done to get it to fit tight? i've never seen it done yet so don't know if i'll be successful. if anybody has some info for me it would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Tony

Im going to be swapping my Ex sport front end to a 93-97 front end look. What ya doing with your grill and header panel and lights.

shoot, probably sell it to you. i'm not a hundred percent sure if i'm going to do the swap yet but i'll keep you updated.

I fixed it...... Trckmagik

Ok and welcome to the site! Just FYI this is considered a family site so no cursing. I would edit your post.

well, i bet the radiator supports on the exp sport and the ranger would be different, as they dont have the same motor or radiator. i imagine that would be the biggest pain throughout the whole conversion. but it would definitely look awesome in the long run. what motor/tranny are you running in your ranger now?

oh, and jack, a ranger nose on an explorer sport would definitely confuse some people. go for it, that would be awesome!

right now i got the 4.0L V6 and the 5 spd manual. but i want to put in a V8 or supercharge the six

sounds like a plan man! the guys over at www.therangerstation.com would know a lot about the swaps your looking into. there a helpful bunch of guys, and their ranger boards are just a little more active that ours are. good luck man!
