Well depends on where you are, I am in Missouri, and have seen my number of cow collisions, one on I-70, 70 mph + Cow = 2 occupants 10 pts for the cow 1 point for the Civic...

Farmers just dont give a rats ass about their cattle fences, they just roam wherever, then try to sue when ya hit it

I let my brother drive my X cause his F250 was in the shop (A/C problems). He lives out in the country was driving along and wammo! He didnt even see the cow because it was black.
