Does anyone have this package they have?? It comes with shocks, sway bars, lowering kit, and i think something else i'm not sure, they say it improves handling dramatically. Its about $850 i think, anyone have it? or heard anything about it?

Several magazines have done reviews on Explorer Express Explorers and they loved the handling package. They said it gets rid of the wallowy ride and the soft feel but doesn't greatly decrease ride quality. If you go to Explorer Express' site they have a couple of the reviews online that you can read for yourself.

Troll just installed the whole packege and loves it. he says it make a world of difrence. i road in it and i notice every thing was tighter but i did not car because i dont drive it.

Yea i would get it but im afraid it would require smaller tires, since the eddie bauers come with the 30.5" diameter tires. I don't want to buy new tires until i buy new wheels, so i am in a bit of a predicament, because i really want the X-spec suspension kit. If anybody knows if the X-spec suspension would work on my truck I'd greatly appreciate it.

Sure..The kit will fit yours. A big part of the handling is the hight of the sidewall on the tires. The lower the sidewall , which is the middle number on tire size, the less flex, better handling and possibly harsher ride. Thus the need for new shocks.
Check out www.tirerack.com and see how to determin the size. You can get a wider tire with a lower sidewall and still have the same diameter tire.

Bill- thanks for the info. I was not aware that the kit would fit my X. I thought that i had read a post here before where somebody said that the 16" wheel and tire package was incompatible with the EE lowering kit. that simplifies the situation a lot........now i just have to get the $!
