Explorer Ignition Upgrade

I was wondering if anybody knows whether a 93 explorer has a 12-18 volt electrical system? I was looking at getting the MSD 6-series igntion and thats what it says I need. Sorry if this is a stupid question Or if anybody knows another ignition system thats better feel free to give any input.

Do not bother with a MSD ignition. Save your money.

The Explorers' Distributorless Ignition System is nearly perfect...

But for the record, you have a 12v system, that charges @ ~14.4v
