Would it be possiable to see if you could check on the price of a set of German headlights for a 2001 Explorer Sport. I heard that the X's in Germany use H4 HID's. Is that true? If so I would be glad to pay you for time and shipping to get a set of headlights and ship them to me in the States!

The explorer is an American one, bought near Ft. Riley, Kansas, taken to Ft. Lewis, WA, then shipped over here. Im in Illeshiem, (north of ansbach, south of wurzburg), its just a little airfield in the middle of farm fields. I have actually known all the owners of this truck, and they were all motor pool guys, so its in pretty good shape for the age of it. I actually bought it because my wife wanted a bigger vehicle, but now we fight over who drives it lol.

Welcome to the board. That would be great if you could check on the headlights of the European Explorers. Lots of us here would like to swap them with our crappy US ones.

will look into it next week. I got a u.s. explorer myself, and just got it about 2 weeks ago lol. Wife already laid claim to it, she took it to her moms house up in Hessan.
