I am putting a 3" lift on my 96 XLT and was just wondering what a good offroad or snowtire would be. I want to get the biggest size possible for my stock rims without getting any rubbing. Thanks a lot.
Hey shredder I just noticed you're new to the site and live nearby. I'm in Pleasant Hill. As far as tires, there's a lot of ways to go and I'm sure everyone here has there own opinion And you should do a search to find what everyone thinks. In my opinion you'd be safe with 32's, 10.5 wide. I can't give you a suggestion on tires though. I bought Daytons from the tire store by Morgan's (I can't remember what they call themselves now. But Daytons only come in 31's. Maybe try Big O. You get a discount with a AAA card. Welcome to the site.
These were standard on Big Broncos and many BB owners sell them off to buy 33 or bigger tires. I recently bought 5 like new 31" BFG MTs with wheels for $400 from a big bronco owner.
Thanks a lot guys, i really appreciate the feedback. Oh ya i know the tire store your talking about, i used to work at Morgans, Great Store, well thanks again guys.
I recently bought some off name bfg tires for my truck and theyre pretty good so far. they called bfg land terrain and i picked up some 31x10.5r15 for 99.98 each @ wal-mart
