Mine just seems boggy in hot weather. Probably needs the MAF cleaned and anything else that a tune up involves. Replaced the plugs. Hot weather just slows it down a lot on the low end. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yep happens to me too....I live with it.

When its cold out its just fine.

Check your IAT and CTS for proper operation at different temperatures.

Intake Air Temp. and Coolant Temp. Sensor. The IAT is that thing clipped to the airbox, it has two vacuum lines connected outside the airbox, inside the airbox there is nothing connected to the vacuum ports and the CTS is on the front of engine, left of throttle body with an electrical connector, 2 pins I think.

Its not on the airbox....that's the bimetal sensor.

Here's the correct location

Try not to break one of the clips like I did.

Mine was covered in gunk, so I cleaned it off with CRC cleaner...

Thanks guys, I'll do a search on how to service those things and probably do that tommorow. I'm stoked about my X right now. It kicked but at the ORV park this weekend!
