Explorer/ranger front bumper lower dam

i own a 97 X xlt. wondering if anyone has changed the front airdam of their explorer with an aftermarket ranger dam. The kits that are sold for the explorer are boring. There's a ton for the ranger.

depends on what year ranger.... after the early (91-94)generation explorers and the 89-92 rangers, the front ends became less interchangeable and more unique to their design...... it probably is possible, as i think some members here have adapted a honda civic body kit to the sports... so anything is possible....

If you put a Ranger bumper on, that would allow you to put a Ranger bumper cover on. But you can't put the Ranger bumper cover over the Explorer bumper.

Also, you might run into problems with lining up the Ranger bumper cover with the body and the wheel well lines if you get it to bolt on.
