Explorer Sport Plastic Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the gray plastic from a ford explorer sport? I have been wanting to paint all of the gray plastic black but am unsure how to remove it....Thanks

they just pull off atleast mine did

Should just be "snap clips" or bolted on...I know a few members who have taken it off to paint/or keep off for rock sliders and whatnot

Hes got the 01 sport though, so like the whole bottom 8" of the body is plastic along with other various pieces lol

I painted mine while it was still on my truck, just did it this week actually. I just taped everything off and I think it turned out just as good as if I would have tried to take all the pieces off. The gray is hideous. Im so glad I painted it.

Just saw he had the 01 sport
