I have a question and I again appeal to my fellow forumers. I'm trying to mount some brackets on the inside of my rear hatch, and I need to remove all the plastic.

On the top part, where it goes around the window, it's clear that there are those push-pin type things holding it in. Those are easy to pop out. However, down by the handle, etc I don't see anything.

I took off the handle to get that outta the way, and pried a bit with a screwdriver underneath the plastic. It would appear there are a few clips underneath...is this correct? How many are there? Can they just be popped out? I don't want to crack any plastic. See picture below.

Any help appreciated...thanks guys.

Once the push pins are pulled around the top and sides of the glass, the plastic should slide up, there are some hooks that hold it on. It's super simple.

Can't remember, there may be a few push pins along the bottom of the glass too.

^^^^ This guy knows his ****.

There was one screw I had to take out inside the lock hole after you pop the top plastic off around the lock, but then it slid out just like you said.

Thanks for the quick reply man, appreciate it.

Daanng. I showed up too late. I've had that thing off more times than I like to remember. :p:
