Explorer sport won't start after adding a keyless remote

Hello,

I've just bought a second keyless remote for my vehicle, after programing it when I try to start the car a "theft" inscription go on on the dashboard and the car won't start. It happened already before but than I only had to open the door again with the remote and engine would start (doesn't work now).

Not sure if this is the right forum, but the only reason the theft light would flash fast is if the RFID tag in the key isn't right or broken, and I'm basing this on a 2001 explorer sport trac.

- RFID isn't read from key, key is broken, transceiver (tone ring??) doesn't work.

first step would be to try another known working key.
