Explorer steering column swap

I recently purchased a 1956 Ford f100 and am using a explorer as a donor for a frame and drive train swap. I wanna keep the cab original looking so I thinking about swapping out the steering column for a mid sixties Lincoln ,since mine didn’t come with a steering column and l don’t like the look of the explorer column / steering wheel . Does anyone know if this remotely possible . Thanks

Since you’ll be cutting it all up anyways I’d think with enough modification you could get it in there.

I kinda want a vintage look. I haven’t seen any of the new ones look retro .
