Exploring the idea of purchasing a Explorer ST

Hi all,

I was referred this site by a friend. I have a 20' Sierra Pickup truck. Looking at possibly moving towards a SUV. The Explorer ST is appealing. Are their any known problems with the 2020+ generation? Most of the Ford Explorers I've seen in the area (using Carfax/KBB) show up as a recall. I do drive a lot of miles a year (25k/yr) to be exact, so looking for something equally reliable and fast. Plus the ST looks the best!

The 2020 ST came with a two bolt rear subframe. Later models came with a one bolt subframe which have been recalled. There is a recall for the backup camera on our ST which I haven't dealt with because our has never been affected by the issue, and some folks who have had the recall "fix" done have wound up having the problem after the recall was "fixed". I believe there may have been other recalls on the early production models as well.
