I bought this truck this past summmer to use as my work truck and it has always had a higher than normal idle. (in park 1500rpm's) Well after doing some research, I finally tried to tackle the problem. Well first I went to the IAC and unplugged the harness from it. Once unplugging it I started the truck and wow it idles at 800-900 which is great improvement versus the 1500 before. So, I thought that the IAC needed to be replaced, so I replaced it with a new one from Advance and the rpm's are back up to 1500. What suggestions to you guys have?
