Fabricating the muffler

hey-
I took my muffler off last week for a day and of course it sounded sweet, but with living in a gated community and with all the cops I soon put it back on. I was just wondering if anyone has experimented with a flap system in the muffler to control the air (exhaust) from going into the muffler or just going straight out from the engine.

They're called a cut out and you can switch between each one from inside the truck.

yeah they sell them premade and you just put them inline w/the exhaust
