Has anyone used Fabtech or Autofab fiberglass '92 Ranger fenders on their Explorer? I have a '93 Explorer. I am thinking of buying fenders from
Perry's but they are a little to wide for my application.

Dose anyone know if the Ranger fenders will work on the Explorer?
Fabtech, Autofab, and Perry all said that the Ranger fenders look
similar but they will not fit.

Do you have links to either of these? I'd be interested looking at them and comparing them all

I think the Rangers might have just one bolt hole holder thingy behind the wheelwell where as the Explorer have two. That should not stop you. What you could do is find some Ranger fender thats really smashed up good and see if you can get it for a few bucks at a junk yard and see if it would line up with all the bolt holes. You got a few there are three on the bottom and three or four under the hood that hold the fenders on.

Fender Vendor

Here is the contact info I have for the fender verndor(s)

Perry's Fab N Fiber (619) 463-1361
~$150 each 4" or 6" bulge
www.perrysfabnfiber.com

AutoFab (619) 562-1740
Ranger Fenders ~$200 range 3" bulge
www.autofab.com

Fabtech 1-877-432-2832
about ~$225 each 3" bulge for 89-92 Ranger
FTF3002L & R

I'm considering buying fenders from Perry and then trimming them down
to 2 inches or so. I might have to do some fiberglass work too. I figure
that might be easier than forcing the autofab or fabtech fender to fit.

I'll consider the dented ranger fender moc up...thanks ryan.
