just as title says. lock up my ex and alarm goes off for no reason. i was involved in an accident where they replaced my driver door and reused the insides....i imagine they f'ed it up cause it didnt start happening till they fixed it. tried taking back and they said they werent the cause (brandon ford, tampa/brandon florida) is there anyway to just disable it? my neighbors are beginning to hate me and my truck at 3am

anyone have some help for me? leaving my car unlocked has me sleeping very ****ty at night...

disconnect the alarm until you can look into it or have someone else...then you can lock it up at least.

i have no clues why it would be going off unless there was an open circuit somewhere. you will have to trace all the wires to find it or have it hooked up and do an electrical check. i am clueless!

also maybe theres a simple fix to my problem...is there a door ajar sensor somewhere? this didnt happen till after my car was fixed and they replaced my driver door....maybe wire is crossed or grounding out..somewhere..? alarm only goes off because its getting a false reading that a door is opened...i dont have the good manual or schematics so please someone help me out?

thanks in advance

Most likely, it's probably the "door ajar" sensor. When you lock it, the truck thinks the door is shut and then randomely, it thinks its open. I know my door ajar sensor goes on and off as I'm driving and my alarm goes off many times in the morning so I'm hoping when then dealer fixes the sensor, the alarm will be fixed as well...or it could be wiring as stated above. Just check your sensors and such.

Check all six entry points, the hood has one also.
