On number 2 I have this strange problem. The factory (horn) alarm goes off when it feels like it. Did it 7 times this weekend. No one can figure out why. So I am wondering if there is a way to disable it without losing the door keypad and keyless entry. Anyone ever tried this? If I can't I may have to just disable the horn, but I like having that, it goes good with my middle finger whil on the road.

Any ideas

Check your hood pin switch. Probably 90% of the time I have seen this problem reported it has been a broken wire or broken swich for the hood. The hood lifts and the little spring supports are constantly pushing up on the hood which the latch is trying to hold down. If the pin switch is real touchy your alarm will constantly go off and on as the wind blows across it or the sun hits it or as the hood cools back off.

cool I'll look into that this weekend. Makes perfect sense I hope it is that easy.:D
