I currently have a 1996 Explorer Sport, and my stereo has only the tape player. I really want to find a cd/tape player combo that someone has taken out and would sell me. I have looked a lot on ebay but most of them are for newer models and their descriptions say that they only fit 2000 models and up or '97 models and up.
I guess what i'm asking is, why won't the later model factory stereos with cd/tape work on my '96 X?
Also, if anyone has one that they won't to get rid of then please e-mail @ tptexplorer@yahoo.com and we can go from there.
