I'm getting my new Explorer soon and it has a factory limited slip with 3.37s (D4) and I'm sure it hasn't been repacked in a while. The truck has 180 K on it and I was wondering if it is worth having it repacked or saving up for a new (different) limited slip. I would prefer to just have it repacked because I don't do too much off roading and I don't have the money to spend, but it seems that I read somewhere that these limited slips wear out beyond what just repacking can help. Please advise. Thanks.
