the subwoofer in my '98 eddie bauer explorer rattles pretty badly when i listen to music. i found this post which didnt help me very much since i couldnt get the panel off. 
replacing the sub IS an option, although i have a very low budget. so basically, as long as it works i dont care.
(only experience i have with audio is replacing the door speakers in my old '90 F-250. )
if anyone knows a fix for this i'd very much appreciate it.
