Faded paint question

I have a 97 explorer, and the door trims (the black thing running down the side) and the black thing on both sides of the tale gate have worn to almost a peach color, i was wondering if i should just wet sand it, and spray it with some black paint. How does that sound?

It sounds like an easy fix. I don't think I'd wet sand it, but use some 320 grit dry. It would look better with glossy black rather than faded IMO. I recently Por'd my rockers and herc'd them and like the glossy black on the bottom and bumpers better than I liked the factory gray lower color.

doesnt neeed to be wet sanded.
You can do it dry.
Just make sure you clean it real well
