Fan Blower Problem????

i have a 1999 ford explorer xlt and there is no air blowing out in the truck. does anyone know what is the cause of this and if you know what it is, then is it easy to fix. i am a do it myself type of guy and just need to know what the problem is so i can fix it myself.:)
Thanks,
Jessee
It sounds like the fan blower Reply needs replaced..

i had to replace the blower switch on the dash in my wifes 01 sport and now i have to replace the switch in my 02 sport. i went thru all that process of elimination stuff and it was the switch on both.

I have a 2008 Ford Ranger XLT that started having the blower issues recently. I discovered it's not the fan selector, it's not the fuse and the wiring appears to be fine. When I pop the hood and tap the blower motor with a screwdriver handle the vents begin blowing air again. I agree with some other posts I've read on here that it's the beginning of a blower motor failure.
