fan clutch

Hello there. I was wonder if anyone has had there fan clutch go bad. I am pretty sure mine has gone bad. I own a 02 explorer xlsand the fan seems to be working pretty hard (like the fan is not free wheeling). Your thought would be greatly appreciated.

I had the fan clutch on my 98 EB 5.0 replaced 3 or so months ago. The thermostat was bad, causing the fan to work more, and with a cracked fan blade(replaced it, too), the fan clutch soon wore out. I do not know off hand what it cost to replace(it was bundled with several other repairs), but it was not too much.

thanks. I am not sure if my thermostat is bad due to i haven't seen any fluctuation in my temp gauge. Ooh yeah nnow i have a rear wheel bearing going bad. whats next!!!!! Please don't list. LOL
