"faulty" blinker arm

The arm that triggers the blinker in my explorer is faulty. Sometimes the left blinker wont come on. When I flip the arm dowm, it makes a nasty buzzing sound instead of blinking. I noticed that if I force the arm futher down it makes the blinker work.

Is this a common problem ?

If so, What's the fix?

Multifunction switch

Fairly common, from what I've read, it's 2 screws that hold it on.

Do a search for multifunction switch, I'm sure you'll find a good thread.
