Feed back from watching the new MFT youtube video.

I watched the Youtube video and I noticed that in the lower left corner, the Sirius info would cycle between station name, artist and song.

I believe that this is a step backwards from having all the information static on the screen.

Drivers will have to take their eyes off the road more often in order to "catch" the information they are looking for.

When I'm in another source like phone or navigation, I like to glance quickly at the lower left corner to read the station, artist and song. Sometimes I'm looking to see what station I'm on before I request a new one via voice commands or answering my daughters question as to "whats the name of this song and who sings it".

I would also like to see the outside temperature retained next to the clock.

I believe Rebecca mentioned that the screens you see may not necessarily be the final product since it is just a "sneak peek". Not sure how much it could change at this late date in the cycle but who knows when those pics were taken and who knows if it was even a live demo.

I am looking forward to a better product as I suspect this will be.

Don't you guys use the right gauge screen? It always shows outside temp, and is much easier to glance at than the MFT screen, it's also easier to get to current artist/track info, etc... Personally i welcome less information cluttering the MFT screen. I use very high resolution, small fonts on my computer, but I don't want to have to think about reading the screen in my car. The less info they put, the larger they can make it.

personally i wish they'd make the font easier to read the temp/time on the main cluster display. but yes, I typically look to the MFT screen for the temp/time as it's font is easier to read there than on the cluster. Did they take away our custom bg photos?

Personally i welcome less information cluttering the MFT screen. I use very high resolution, small fonts on my computer, but I don't want to have to think about reading the screen in my car. The less info they put, the larger they can make it.

I find with my preferred seating position and steering wheel position, it is not my preference to look at the right hand LCD for temp readings.

This really is the key to satisfying a greater amount of your customers!

Even if it's just simple things like:

- clock & temp or just clock.
- one line of info or two in the four corners.

I received the survey on Sync but was not selected. I believe it was because I had a techie background and they wanted the average non tech user. That's disappointing because many of us on here have so much to offer because we care and are enthusiasts

Yes. I do. I use the right gauge screen A LOT. I use it to change climate, to see who is calling, viewing the turn by turn directions, as well as entertainment info. I just find it easiest.

Did you guys notice the weird stepping that happened when the lady cycled through the Sirius station banks. To go from 3 to 1, it cycled through 2. I was like....aw man this WAS hopeful. Looks like rushing to get the video produced trumped QC. A familiar mantra.

I think it looks as designed... you're talking about the yellow LED on the button? It's to look like old mechanical ones where the light actually clicked into place as you went through the options...

I think the animation is nice.. I timed the change between the actual presets on the screen and there's no difference between the time going from 2 to 3 and 3 back to 1

I think I'd settle for a lot less customization than that and be happy
