Macknos will be coming back to the states in the next few days(unless he's already back) and he will be working on a set of fender flares. I am sure he will chime in and give you some updates.

So at the moment, no one makes them, but soon enough;)

yeah i was hoping that i didnt have to get some of 86's ghetto flares. lol

once the weather clears up i will get right to finishing my pocket style flares. its rough fiberglassing when its raining or even too humid. i'm want to have them done by feb. but we will see.

how wide are they gonna be?

Subscribing. Have always wanted the pocket flares for my 95 Sport but noone makes any. Interested in seeing some made for the 3rd gens.

will ranger fender flare fit on and explorer?

my mold i made for far is a 2.75 inch flare which covers my mud grapplers completely. i'm gonna make whatever size flares people would need once i get mine finished. the only thing is paint will need to be done at a paint shop. i wish this weather would get warm soon so i can get my flares done. i have to wash my truck atleast 2 times a week just to keep it somewhat clean

How much they gonna run? $250?

probably about 400 for front and rear. between time spent (first one took about 3 days to make) and supplies it will be atleast 300-350 but it all depends

Thats a good price. I saw 86's up close and those were probably the worst quality fiber fenders i have ever seen.

the problem is that 86 makes them, his molds were bought from the guy that had the racing explorer, those were great quality but the ones 86 made using those molds suck!

they will be a little over kill but the first set that i'm making for my truck with be 7-9 layers of fiberglass not including the the poly-form material i use to shape the flares. when i built a glassed sub box after just 3 layers i weigh 195lbs. and can stand on it with no flex or no cracking. 7-9 layers will be thick enough that i can take a nice beaten without cracking.

i bought everything to finish a set in silver carbon fiber so if my molds work well i will be making a carbon fiber set altho this will be my first time using carbonfiber we will see.

great! cant wait to see what they look like.

well it looks like the flares will be way off in the future. my drivers side is sitting on the ground due to the pin that goes through my upper uniball ball joint broke causing my lower ball joint to break and tuck my wheel under my mountaineer. after this happening i'm this way and that way about keeping my truck lifted. i'm gonna sleep on it but i'm leaning to returning the mountaineer back to stock. i can't risk my families life and other lives just to keep it lifted.

How much you want for you RB spacers?

Just keep the body lift on and return the suspension to stock. I think Roadbully needs to redesign his spacers. I am glad I took mine off before having problems. I just hated the ride and weird angle of the control arm. TRUXXX spacers are angled to prevent the camber issues, and haven't heard of any issues with them yet, but I don't know if I want to trust those either. I think I may just leave mine at stock height, we can fit 32's stock.
