few quick questions

looking at heading to the u-pull next week, need a few parts for my 97 5.0 explorer, im looking at getting a front driveshaft(6bolt kind), front passenger side axel, and both control arms on the passenger side.

my question is, do i have to get all these off a 5.0 explorer?
what are my year ranges on these?
also, are there some rare things i should keep my eyes open for?

Metal 1997 intermediate steering shaft. They switched over to plastic at some point after. The lower joint on these goes bad after a while and causes a clunk sound. The plastic replacements are inferior.

I believe you are looking for pre 1998 intermediate shafts. I don't know if they're 5.0L specific. I just mentioned it since you're soliciting possible parts. You don't absolutely need to find and get one though.
