Last winter, my Performance Products valence broke when a snowplow pushed snow into the aux driving lights. for those who don't know what the PP valence/light assembily looks like, check out my photo gallery.
There is a fracture that runs from one of the mounting holes for the light forward about 4" forward. the crack isn't visable but is an obvious weak point that may work itself further to where it is visable. the crack is also stressed by the maounting of the aux light.
should i try to realign the crack, then epoxy the parts/sand and repaint? Should i slice through the crack and make it about 1/8" wide, use fiberglass body putty to rebuild the cut out section and reinforce the mounting bracket and seem with a hidden peice of sheet aluminum? Should I just forget about trying to fix it? What do you guys think?
