Finally got the truck a little present!

Well, I'm embarrassed to say that I've had my truck for a year and a half, and Im just now getting around to putting some decent wheels and tires on it. Nothing too big, since I don't have a lift yet, but I love them. The ride feels much smoother now, too!

Here's what I got - BFG AT 31's and some sweet American Racing wheels!

Do the wheels look familiar?....I stole them off of Section525's ride

Oh yeah....I got the tires at Costco.
$443.00 out the door...although I had to tell them the tires were going on a Jeep so that they would give them to me

I should have drove by afterwards with the tires on my ex and waved to them

It's funny how many shops wont touch anything that has to do with explorers and wheels. Sooo... when you planning on lifting it?

Looks great!! Those are the tires that came on my 04 Eddie Bauer. I like the stock wheels I have. What is this about tire shopes not wanting to work on Explorers???

I guess the tire shops are worried about lawsuits with all the bull about ex's rolling over! Their reluctant to put oversized tires on a ex!
Also U-Haul will NOT rent trailers for ex's!

they wouldnt put 33"s on my dads lifted 89 F-150...

they wouldnt even fix the rim that blew out we had to take it off the truck..
