DUDE!!!! That was awesome. I love the bumpy idle. When you revved it it sounded like the sound was bieng squezzed from the engine..you know what i mean?

Dam that sounds bad ass! What kind of mufflers are you using?

it says flowmaster 40 and glasspacks in the beginning of the vid.

Why both? Wasnt that me and you having a discussion about Lebanon a while back and safety?

Lebanon? i dont think it was me.

Anyways--AWDrocks, do you know how the truck sounds without the glasspacks? I hear that they sort of restrict the sound when paireed with a muffler and defenitly reduce power.

Thanks for the compliments

I first had the mufflers on only.. was STUPID load for my taste...

Before this exhaust I had only Borla cat back single... out two tips.

This new exhaust I did the true duals etc. To tell you the truth I felt like I lost a lot of low end grunt.... up top was another animal, much stronger, I did 120mph like nothing with this new setup.

I did the glass packs for two reasons:

1) bring the noice down
2) try and regain some back pressure for the torque

I was going to use resognators but I didnt want to kill the sound. Just wanted to get rid of an ungly rumble it had while cruising through the gears.

It definetly sounds CLEANER with the packs and I does feel torquier. Yes you are right, I probably lost a little HP up top, but I think I gained TORQUE.

I feel this way I have the best of both worlds. Good torque and still have awsome top end.

Next im changing over to an X pipe... its in the mail.

on my 3rd rev you can see my X move forward... lol maybe the power and exhaust out back make them act like rockets.. lol

ya i saw that. For a sec there i though you were reving this and then put here in drive. All my truck does is just move to the right when i rev it.

That sounded badass! I like where you have the tips, too. Looks real clean.

Whats the H/E for?

Its plumbed to my SC intercooler. Its a water/air system. It has a front h/e (heat exchanger) but I added a second rear one to further cool the air charge temps. I also plumbed an ice box to the same system. Its right obove the H/E.

*jealous*
That sounds incredible man
