A) Remove the annoying "I see that you've registered, but never posted to our site before." blurp
B) Announce my presence

Hi all.. I'm new to the forums, and glad to be a part of it. You guys have already brought new life to my recovring Ex...
I just recently purchased my 2nd ex... First got stolen out of my apt complex.. Long SAD story... Loved it so much, had to get another..
My Ex. 1997 V-8 AWD XLT. Bought if off some guy who if he didn't sell it by the end of the day was going to junk it.. He just needed to get rid of it. God bless CraigsList... Bought it for $1000 cash.
Runs great, very few problems, was well taken care by original owner (he had it since new) 197k miles so I am hoping to take it to the 200k mark and more.
Few things off the bat with it...
1) Idling at around 25-35mph very loud rattle from underneath (I'm guessing heat shield, haven't checked it yet)
2) All my bulbs are burnt behind the gauge cluster (I've already ordered a 01 white face, thanks to the awesome idea from the How-to) so i'm waiting on that.
3) Slight rattle on low speed sharp turns from Front/Driver wheel.
4) Steering wheel leather is pretty much worn out.
5) Tilt adjustment handle for driver side seat is broken off.
6) Semi-large dent/gouge on back/passenger door and frame that needs bonded/repainted.
Other than that a few other minor issues, but I'd say not bad for $1000..
I am from the NoVA/DC area. Anyone else from around here?
