firestone recall works

HI jist whanted to let every one that firestone realy wants those tires off the road .I found a 94eb with 53000mi it had the orignals on it i went to firestone today 11-4-06 with 4 worn roted tires 3 under recall and the other was not the dealer through in the 4 th suprised the hell out of me no hasel atall freeeeee have fun

What are the tires and sizes they are recalling?

its not the size its the model mine was wildernes a/t s go to bridgstones site on the home page there is a red highlited box click on it it tells it all there certeain pre fix codes that it covers that are on the back of the tire.

OK! That was the big recall Firestone was involved with and the Ford Explorers a few years back.
Geez! They are still taking them back?

Yep people are stil getting notices also. Like me. Myself & others have posted it before recently. They forgot the spare tires in the orginal recall. So now they want to get tires that may have been spares off the road.

Yup, they still are. My 98 had Wilderness AT's on it and I took it to the Firestone dealer with a copy of the recall article and they replaced all 5 of my tires with Destination AT's.....saved me $705.00

Yea, gonna crawl under the 96XLT in the moring after reading this. I KNOW its a Firestone under there on the spare, jus not sure which one it is. Wish me luck

Well, I found out last night that I do indead have the Firestone A/T 235/75/15.
YAY for me.
