First CEL issue

Alright i was driveing to work and decided to go with the AC on. Closed all the windows and turned on the AC. No more the like 2 minutes later the CEL light came on. Any idea how much a scanner will cost or if there are any places that do it for free?

Stop by an Autozone or Advanced Auto and they will print out your check engine code for free.

Well i got my car scanned and the code was pb405. From what the manager at Checker says its a gas cap loose issue. So hopefully after i fillup and really make sure its tight that should fix it.
