First Explorer...First post here!

First, nice forum you all have here!! I just purchased a 1998 Explorer Sport 2wd automatic with 114,000k so I have a feeling I will need all the help I can get keeping it running strong, I needed a decent rig to tow my cycle trailer with...I am a member of a couple of strong motorcycle forums so I know how invaluable the help can be, both given and taken!

My Explorer is in GREAT shape, red in color, very clean inside and out and seems to run very strong so far. I have a minor laundry list of small (I hope) issues to fix up and am searching as we speak for possible solutions...I look forward to participating within the forum in the near future!

well you came to the right place. good luck keepin it stock. with all the mods many of which are free or close to it, you will learn to live on this site! can you get some pics? if so email it to me and i will host it everythingtech@verizon.net. I strongly recommend becoming elite for a mere 20 dollars a year, or if you post a well written write-up on a modification you do you can earn free elite status for a certain amount of time. This allows 150 message storage, picture hosting, and many other options. With the wealth of knowledge here you can do literally do a tear down and rebuild, and generally if you do a search first, then if nothing pops up or your answers arent clear, many respond to your assistance.
