Hey..Dave from Texas... Have not owned a Ford previously but just bought an 03 Sport Trac for my son to drive to college (SFA) and back home. Here are the partics:

3rd owner of the truck
Bed Extender
No wrecks
Previous owner smoked in it for about 10 yrs.
So, I have my work cut out for remediation of the smell. Bought an ozone gen and ran it a couple of times which believe or not has really helped. Over the next many week(end)s, I will be doing a ton to make sure it is road worth to be driven 3 hrs each way. In addition, many hours continually cleaning the interior.
I will post what I had done plus pics of before and after..
