First Generation Explorer front end look alikes?

Just out of curiosty, do some of the rangers and bronco II have the same front end setup like bumper and lights as does the first generation ford explorer??? I saw a a 92 or 93 ford ranger and it look awfuly close. Thanks

I think that the 88-92 (?) Rangers and some Bronco II's had the same front end. I am not sure on the years though.

Ahh....Ok here we go:

89-90 BroncoII's have the same dash, and front clips as Explorers.
89-92 Rangers have the same dash and clips as Explorers.

BUT, The grille has an egg crate design different from Explorers in both vehicles.

The exception to this rule is the 89-92 Ranger STX, which had a body colored Explorer grille.

In addition, the fenders and doors are not the same, as they have a body crease around door handle level, and different mirrors and handles.

The interior door panels are smaller also.
