This Post is great im learing a lot. Im thinking about getting a 6" or a 5.5" lift and 33X12.5. With 15X8 Rims. Anybody have the exact same setup? Thanks for the pics guys
I've heard and seen bad things as well, but to be honest, I haven't had any problems with it. I still have only had it on there for about 6 months now, so I suppose there's still a lot of time for stuff to happen, but so far so good. From what I've read, you might want to look into the 6" skyjacker as opposed to the Superlift.

I actually have no idea what the backspacing is and I can't find the number online either. Sorry

I have a '94 with the 6" Skyjacker lift and ext. radius arms. I am still running the stock 15x7 rims that have a 4 5/8 backspacing. We tried a set of 15x8's with a 3.5 backspacing but they actually hit the outside of the fender when trying to turn the tires only a small amount. I am going to have to shave the fenders back about 3 1/2 inches to get the rims to fit without rubbing.
Sorry but I don't know how to post pics on the forum. If you would like pics of my X, send me your email address and I will email you back with some.

Divinesoul777, I got the intake on a group buy through this forum for $130 shipped. The lift, rims and tires was around $1900 shipped. It was a package deal through 4wheelparts.

33x12.5 Xterrains on 15x8 Rock Crawlers.. Less rub on the sway bar.. But that scared the crap out of me when it happened because there's tread on the sidewall...

Generally better traction all around that I've been through.. Haven't had them in enough mud to tell, but they're better than the Coopers were in the rain.. I just hope they wear good enough for me..
As for the sound they make, there's more, but I expected that.. I kinda laugh sometimes because I used to laugh at the rednecks (and yes, they were rednecks, trust me) back in highschool that had the big trucks and knobby-assed tires.. Now I have that sound somewhat

hehehe I read all about the Hootus and Herculiner and had to think long and hard about tackling the job, but I just went without fluids for days and went to work with the roller.
