first post-need help

Bought a 2001 ford explorer sport missing fog lights. It looks like someone cut wires. I have plenty of power. Bought factory fog lights. There is a plug in on back of light. I have one black wire and one red wire to attach to plug. What to do? thanks so much, Becky

Go to a junkyard and cut the wire connectors that snap into the bulbs off of another vehicle. Give yourself as much wire as you can to splice them......

Welcome to this forum! The black wire is the ground, and the red wire is the positive.

Before hooking up the lights, double check that the wiring is working correctly.

Make sure the wires have not been cut for a reason, like a shorted circuit.

If there is a problem it will be an easy fix.
