Hey what's up guys. I'm at about 7000 miles on my 2012 explorer and I'm going to take it in soon for an oil change.

What other services are due at this moment or should have been done?

I'm thinking wheel rotations but I really don't know. Any help? Thanks

Not sure myself, but bumping to see what others have to say. 8-)

I HIGHLY recommend you rotate your tires every 5,000 miles to extend the wear on them, even if you wait to change the oil. This will be the primary reason why I change the ok then, too, even though I know I can stretch it longer.

Any reputable dealer will perform a multi-point inspection, fill your fluids and let out know if they find anything. There is not much else needed at this point.

Oil change and rotate tires. That's it. You won't really need to do anthing else until the 20,000 mile and 30,000 mile marks.

IIRC the 20K is the cabin filter and the 30K is the engine filter.

Thanks for the input guys! Getting oil change and rotation right now.

They are also going to do some recall on the cooling fan so it worked out alright.

The Owner's Manual has a section in the back (Maintenance Schedule Log) where the dealer can put his stamp and info. I doubt many owners have that done. Next time I'm in I'll get them to stamp the second change I had done a while back.

bluex232,

The “NORMAL SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AND LOG” can be found on page 412 of the 2013MY Explorer Owner Guide!
