2007 Explorer XLT
Hello all. I have been a registered member on here for sometime because I was reading tech articles, but this is my first post. I live in Yukon, Oklahoma. My wife has a 2007 XLT Explorer that we both absolutly love.

I have a 2006 Mustang GT that I have been itching to be able to make a garage queen. I think Im finally pulling the trigger and getting me a daily driver so the 06 can spend its time making my garage look nice.

We have both loved my wifes car so much that I have decided that I want to find me a early 90s style Explorer. I have always loved them. I have found a few that Im interested in. Hopefully I will have something by the end of this week.

Mainly just wanted to say hello because I have a feeling I will be on here alot more after I pick up one for myself.

Welcome to the site :). Living in Tulsa, OK myself! Cya around.

Just about headed up to Tulsa last night to pick up a 92 that a guy has up there. I decided against it thought because it needed to much work. The price was GREAT though. $700 OBO! It was running and driving.

Well, picked one up tonight. I think its a pretty good deal.

1992 4x4. The body is great and the paint is actually in really good shape. Interior has some wear spots, but extremely clean for a 17yr old car. Im guessing its a 2 owner car because the man I bought it from has owned it from 1995.

Only things it needs is drivers side radius rod bushing and I have to trace down why the windows dont work along with the radio not turning on. But Im not worried about any of those things. Most likely a simple wireing or fuse fix and the bushings look easy.

All in all I am pumped about my new purchase. Hopeing it proves to be the best $700 Ive spent lately.

Here is a crappy iPhone pic. I will wash it up and get some good pics soon. Its dark and around 20degrees outside so I didnt feel like doing anything to it tonight

Drove it home from buying it. Drives great except for the clanking of the radius rod. Besides that, transmission shifted great and engine sounded as it should.

After I got it home I went through it. The owner I just purchased it from bought it in 96 with 88k on the odometer. It currently has 155k. So in 13 years he only put on a little less than 60k.

Ill wash it up as soon as I get a chance and put up some pics. Im dying to get it cleaned up.

welcome and nice x
