Fix for am radio reception?

Has anyone found out why some Fords (2013 Explorer) has such poor am reception? Is there a fix?

I would suggest either tracing down all wires or just replace it with a more powerful model.

my 91 has always had pretty bad reception but I use mp3's so idc... Good Luck
